Event Description

Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Cutting, Suicidal Ideology are just a few of the issues that many young adults (13-20) actively face today. As scary as that might sound, much of it can be treated but we have to know what signs to look for. As Clinical Director of The Child, Adolescent and Family Recovery Center, Natalie Sabo is a Licensed Professional Counselor who completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology.  Natalie provides specialty expertise to a multidisciplinary team for the provision of specialized services in order to treat an acute population. Natalie works with the “at risk youth population” which you will learn can unexpectedly include your child.

Join us at The Academy as Natalie discusses the five pillars of DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and the benefits of teaching our children how to implement this in their daily lives.  She strives to help her clients identify what keeps them “stuck” and how families can work together to get “unstuck”. Natalie specializes in treating anxiety and depression disorders as well as addiction and trauma recovery. She has extensive experience providing individual, family and group therapy as well. She strives to provide an environment in which her clients are able to experience their strengths while also identifying their struggles and the ways in which they can be managed effectively.
